The July 2026 Army rule is WHtR despite the legacy page label

The Army announced that waist-to-height ratio replaced its longstanding height-and-weight tables, circumference body-fat tape test, and supplemental body-fat assessments. The current arithmetic uses the waist circumference at the navel and height, officially recorded in inches. Because the numerator and denominator share a unit, their quotient has no unit; centimeter entry here is mathematically equivalent but does not replace the Army's official procedure.
