Guideline and score versions are not interchangeable

This page preserves the named CHA₂DS₂-VASc component table used in the 2023 U.S. atrial-fibrillation guideline. The 2024 European Society of Cardiology guideline instead foregrounds CHA₂DS₂-VA, which omits the sex-category point.
