Emergencies, minor procedures, younger people, and different health systems may not share the same model performance.

RCRI addresses perioperative cardiac complications, not long-term primary prevention. The 2013 ASCVD Pooled Cohort calculator estimates a different endpoint over ten years in a different population; exchanging their scores or thresholds has no clinical meaning.
